yeah im not gonna downplay those other themes, and the fact that the battle theme had unique spins for the different areas was fantastic. something about retribution that I really loved was that it didn't try to be a megalovania rip off to my knowledge. they really tried to make their own thing within the bounds of being a fangame. I always thought a mothers love should have been a mothers LOVE for that fight but maybe that would have been too corny.
