Aside from my close family (parents and siblings) plus my Grandparents I have no contact with any of them. My Grandad from my Dad's side passed away last year and my other Grandad has dementia and is not doing so well.
My close family is doing alright considering. I have pretty much never had a serious falling out (nothing that we havent fixed swiftly) with my brother and we've been best friends for most of our lives. I don't get along too well with my Mum but I do get along with my Dad whilst my brother gets along better with Mum. Things are pretty good these days between us even if during my childhood it was a very different story. I don't want to hold grudges against family or friends if I can help it.
