>children's comic - "Let's give him a fucking knife"
Haha, yeah. Remember when Whisper had Eggman lined up and Cream told her to take the shot?
I didn't read the Duo storyline. I assume he wore a grand total of one disguise and gave up as soon as he was busted via his radio?
I don't remember if he was used much during Starline's the Bad Guys or whatever it was called.
I don't remember him having any motivation or stated goal.
I'm not sure what happened in his final story comic because the speech bubbles are a bit weird and the artist isn't that good at depicting things clearly - e.g. when he was smashed into the ground by the gunsho- I mean kid-friendly and non-harmful whispon shots I thought he was mid air falling down the canyon.
I think that:
>take his knife away
>make him interested in messing with Sonic & co for *some* plot reason
>make it clear he wins versus the civvies (what are they called again? The Restoration?) and the OCs
>but that he can't beat Sonic & co (they win, he always gets away, he always instigates, they're always on the defence)
>make it clear that Whisper is equivalent to Sonic & co *versus Mimic* but the difference is she understands him and make traps for him (Sonic & co and Whisper working together = bagged and tagged octopus)
>Whisper and Mimic are now two sides of the same espionage coin: infiltration and counter-espionage, one is honourable, the other dishonourable
>also Whisper doesn't cry her eyes out anymore
>if Mimic is here, we have an excuse to have Whisper join the team
>put him in a Restoration prison or scare him off, you can easily write him into new plots whenever a writer needs him
would make him a more rounded recurring villain and Whisper interesting to boys.
