fertility rate collapse is *THE* issue. this is going to happen no matter what we do. it's not like climate change, where we know how to fix it and just don't. we have no idea how to fix it. we don't even really know what causes it. everything anyone has tried to fix it has failed. even africa will have below replacement fertility sooner or later. there's nothing anyone can do about it. global depopulation is coming and it's going to be grim.

and immigration won't help either. it just delays in inevitable.
