>Weird how the creator seemed to know enough about MotU to include a version of Stinkor but not that the cartoon was very non-violent, not full of bloody Conan swordplay.
I think the MOTU stuff was there for recognition's sake, but Zorn himself was meant to be a catch-all sword and sorcery character, which meant that they could pull from all kinds of sources. Plus having him look like He-Man, but be as, if not more, violent than Conan, really helps with the fish out of water premise.
Also I think it's a pretty safe bet that any kid that was into MOTU got introduced to Conan pretty quickly. Hell I watched Conan years before ever seeing a single episode of MOTU. Though I did have a New Adventures of He-Man figure that I used as a stand-in for Arnie when playing with my Predator figures.
