Yeah… happens every time.
I mean when I had been playing Caligula Effect I hoped it would be like Persona. No, it’s a boring and pointless game with broken animation, retarded story and characters with nonexistent personality but had decent combat gameplay and mechanics.
Then there was Hogwarts Legacy and I expected it to be good, an actually good game with the right mechanics because the setting is just perfect for something like Persona BUT nope it had the same problems… boring game with decent gameplay loop.
In fact those games are so boring and predictable that I’ve just dropped them.
I don’t fucking know why devs are so braindead or maybe they are afraid of their game being labelled as a ‘persona-like’ or whatever.
