It was the closest the series ever came to commenting on real-world internet culture or the potential thereof, so that was neat. There is a certain hit you get in timing their collisions just right. Not to mention Big Wave (only in 3, I think?) just feels unfair for a single chip.

I remember it being too much silliness and not enough plot for my taste. Guess I like the brisker pace of the Game Boy games better. The way Megaman pulls off the win in the Gospel arc should also have been the answer to any new threat ever, but I suppose the dimensional areas were a workaround.
