Rude. It's an SPR (ish) because it has an SS 18" barrel, PRI handguard and a high power scope. It is not a true SPR since that is a specific weapon platform. It's function is similar to an SPR however in that it's maximizing the effectiveness of 5.56 (in my case, the Special Purpose is shooting steel silhouettes). I don't know what you talking about assaulter roles has to do with anything. There are many other mission types and SPR's are used in those too.
