Generally try to drop crown on 4, on an empty board
It messes up their tempo expecting to clear stuff on 5 but met with nothing
If they come in and evo anyway, phildau valse usually swings the board in your favor
For rune just flood the board early, try to mulligan for quickblader so your later draws aren't shit, understand what removal they have at what stage. Pre emptive Amelia super evo on turn 6 usually fucks rune pretty hard
For portal it's still a bad match up vs good players but the idea is trying to force their alouette and orchis turns with an evo then clearing with valse/samurai/phildau. Quickblader comes in on the zirconia turn, not on turn 1
Luminous mage is a dead card vs both.
