Something I found is that decks made for Diamond don't necessarily work well in lower ranks due to the differences in the local meta. A deck made for Diamond probably is designed to beat Portal/Rune, while if you're stuck in Topaz/Ruby, half the ladder might be Sword, and you need to design your deck appropriately instead of thoughtlessly copying what Diamond players are doing.

It messes up their tempo expecting to clear stuff on 5 but met with nothing
If they come in and evo anyway, phildau valse usually swings the board in your favor
For rune just flood the board early, try to mulligan for quickblader so your later draws aren't shit, understand what removal they have at what stage. Pre emptive Amelia super evo on turn 6 usually fucks rune pretty hard
For portal it's still a bad match up vs good players but the idea is trying to force their alouette and orchis turns with an evo then clearing with valse/samurai/phildau. Quickblader comes in on the zirconia turn, not on turn 1
Luminous mage is a dead card vs both.

I have never once encountered a situation where I couldn't remove the board and went "I wish I had Reaper right about now." In general I feel this would fall apart without the legendaries but maybe a budget version can work so long as you get Cerb.

My Medusas I can never ever get to stick, I love her but...I use and save her specifically to clear a class's legendaries or full boards, she is just "kill 3 for 7 pp" in my eyes, which is amazing, but still.

Storm build, it's a mix between aggro and control, working with what I got.
I think I have the most fun with board control and tempo plays in general, playing a reactionary game while building up and looking for openings.
I happened to pull the cards for it but I think I actually might like the playstyle the best regardless.
