and then convinced the four major sports in DC to change their team theme to one of the military branches
MLB for the Marines(Leathernecks, Bulldogs), NHL for the Navy(Clippers), NBA gets the Air Force(Red Tails, Bombers), and the football team for the Army(current franchise works for that already)
