The issue with his games is that they’re INCREDIBLY easy, and the only truly challenging game from his studio is… Nightreign in solo mode, which he had nothing to do with.
Elden Ring is far too easy if you’re not creating your own challenge. But by imposing a challenge on yourself, you’re opting out of a huge portion of the game’s mechanics and content.
What’s the point of having 1,000 spells in a game if anyone who uses them drops the difficulty to a level designed for gaming journalists? So, when playing Elden Ring, you never use most of the weapons, never use magic, and never explore the map fully, or you’ll end up overleveled.
