It's still perfectly functional, and it still has plenty of readers to go around.
It does have some legacy quirks you have to deal with, but nothing too bad, mostly the image size limit and some clunkiness on the whole posting and organizing your comic and page, but then again nothing too cumbersome.
It's a perfectly valid option, I'd put it above tapas and webtoon,even.
