Interestingly enough, Die Hard 4 had all the hacker stereotypes in one movie. The villains were the balaclava wearing bad hackers trying to hack the stock market, the main characters sidekick was one of the nerds with ideals (who gets the girl in the end), and they would occasionally get help from a neckbeard hacker who lives in his moms basement. That was how media was portraying hackers as of 2007 anyways.
