and have they maneuvered as gracefully as the historical blimps did? when have you last seen a goodyear balloon attach itself into a skyscraper by it's tip? besides wasn't helium supposed to be rare af? how were there tons of these things flying around? how were they controlling these things without any ballast? why was one single fatal accident enough to cancel the whole thing while we still move around in other death traps such as cars and planes?

they weren't balloons, there were no gasses involved in the flying of these things (not as we were told at least). they had anti-gravity tech which allowed them to fly across the skies gracefully and the "balloon" shape could have simply been cargo space.
