The first tip is that the letter grade of the legacies means literally nothing. You only care about the sparks on them, you want as many of the blue stars filled in as possible and should borrow ones with 9 blue across the parent and grandparents until you eventually have some of your own.

Rudolf just needs to win the run to be far above C+, you want to focus on Support Cards that are good (look at what other people use). pic rel is an A Rudolf I made with shitty sparks, you don't need them to be anywhere near perfect.
