Yeah, Johor is pretty tame and boring desu. I considered roughing it in Sumatra, but the bus terminals being located so far from the city centers pissed me off. Fucking taxi mafias, you know they're behind the bus terminal relocations. It's interesting how Malaysian cities, despite having excellent and plentiful bus service, never have a need to build a new bus terminal 6-10 km from the city center.

One scrawny beta orbiter with two travel roasties. Their constant need to fill the air with random remarks and affirmations of said remarks reminded me of how much better solo travel is for truly immersing yourself in a place and soaking it all in...unless you find a friend who is comfortable with silence, like the pair of Muslim chicks who preceded them.
