Honestly I don't think they intended ANYONE to go into LR with a fresh save anyway. Some of those early missions absolutely skullfuck a default AC no matter how good you are (in b4 some retard misses the point and posts a video of some autistic crackhead beating the entire game with the starter AC), and it was obvious NB was created almost solely to train players up in preparation for LR being the hardest entry yet. I can't even imagine how fast someone would've returned LR if it was their first AC game simply because of the bull shit it drops on you out of the gate. Like they really dropped this fucker with H+ and a linear cannon in one of the first missions and said "lol enjoy!".
