most self inserters are guys, and people have been pointing out that kris is eerily close to being toby's own self insert
if this were true it goes against the whole point of kris, but how could one rectify this?
kris is female, her own person who, while similar to toby, cannot be toby because of that one simple fact
it also neatly cleans up any potential fallout of noelle having a crush on kris being lesbian erasure or whatever the fuck and berdly still gets to be straight
it also feels very toby for the big potential romance in deltarune to ultimately be a yuri one
