What is her spending habits? I'm not talking at all about her income or earning potential, that might be helpful in some ways, but irrelevant for this current context.
Is she a Nordstrom girl or does she shop at Kohls? Does she like fancy restaurants or does she skip that shit in favor of home cooking? Does she obsess about how she wants her "dream home" to be, or is she very practical about her living conditions?
I've been around long enough to know that thrifty girls are the loyal ones, the ones that won't grow demanding or resentful, and the ones who you'll end up in side-by-side rocking chairs on your front porch in your 80s after decades of happy marriage. They also will be the ones who won't be constantly economically sabotaging you with out-of-control spending until divorce.
And the funny part is, those thrifty girls are the ones you'll WANT to buy a gigantic engagement ring for, a brand new BMW for your anniversary, or take on a spendy vacation to Italy.
However if she's already terrible with money, it's only going to get worse, and you should cut your losses now.
