I've noticed that beyond the fact that normies obviously love and recognize Rockstar there's a certain group of fans who are autists in it for the RP experience without the RP combat and leveling systems. For what it's worth R* design team have a reputation for going to levels of detail other AAA studios don't especially when it comes to assets and such. This trigger something in the sperg mind and creates this obsession. This applies to their earlier kino like Bully and Manhunt as well. Imo no other game studio can do atmosphere like they can I'll give them that
