I like Tharja as a character but Awakening is not as coombait as people make it out to be. Sure it can get sillier than Radiant Dawn or Shadow Dragon but I think people overreact with that sentiment. Just because you can have a self insert character explicitly plap another waifu? If you wanted to make a case for that argue about Fates, that game makes Awakening look tame. I think the cast of Awakening is memorable and the story can dip in quality during the midgame but it's not the worst thing in the world. I also don't give a shit about casualization because I exclusively play on Classic Hard Mode because I cannot for the life of me play on Casual mode, not because I'm elitist, but because my mind always thinks my units have the chance to die and I get a really good high off of low chance evades. I don't give a shit about what other people do, blame New Mystery instead for introducing Kris and Casual mode. Kris has supports with both women and men where you can have them plap, that game is the real perpetrator but it's still top 5 for me despite that. Also, my favorite girls are Maribelle, Cherche, and Tiki. That last one is because the games with Marth in it are some of my favorite and I think seeing an older Tiki wanting to live more carefree is really nice why do you think my name is the way it is
