Am I missing something? For a mere 10 points this seems like a nobrainer. Even if you use the "dangerous" profile of the plasma bombard and risk hurting yourself it doesn't really compare, unless you really need to kill terminators at long range I guess? But even then fishing for those 5+ breaching seems kinda meh...
