I have memories from when I was a kid finding out about Oblivion through videos and being enchanted -- it being Oblivion those memories had a shit ton of bloom of course. I feel good when I think about those memories, so that's where my bias for bloom came from. So when I started playing Morrowind recently I replaced the short vanilla fog that was supposed to make the world feel bigger with bloom instead, so my game having excessive bloom is just me being greedy
