At the time, all of the overt gay innuendo was just too weird for me. I assume it was too much for most people because it was quickly cancelled. It's one of those things where I had to warm up to it overtime because gay shit in Helluva Boss, and similar, doesn't bother me anymore.
Also, I haven't seen Stripperella since then, but I had fond memories of it.
