I vaguely remember installing dcs world years ago and to intentionally avoid dcs steam world for some reason. I actually remember it being a good reason and not just drm autism. It was like peripheral interface or updates or something.

Can someone refresh me on why? I see the franchise is on sale on steam and my sticks/pedals have been collecting dust for months.
