Something that will get you a good paying job where you want to live so you can raise a family.

I'm a philosophy major and I'm unemployed and training to be an electrician. By all means study some philosophy as an elective, its great for helping you how to rationally analyze, how to structure an argument and how to understand the world and morality; but its not gonna pay the bills.
