No, reboot was expected to be crap right from the first reveal when it was immediately made clear that John wouldn’t be on it.
What really happened was that the Spum crowd and this board had a fun time mocking the bettercartoon hashtag that industry artists started using to show off their ideas that should’ve been picked up instead. And every other, if not most of the cartoons pitched looked to be some lame-looking slop derivative of SU, TOH and COTC.
The one with the COTC-reject children who cry in the woods and get magic powers is a certified hood classic.
