Got a real fun haul at the dollar store today. Also struck up a conversation with an older guy who was browsing as well. People always have horror stories about Hot Wheels collectors, but honestly everyone I've ever met in an aisle has been fun as shit to talk to.

Anyway, I already had Cruise Bruiser, but I love this casting so much I wanted to buy it again. I love yellow paint jobs and I'm particularly fond of those wheels and wish HW used them more often.

The Alfa Romeo Guilia is a super cute little euro racing sedan, if you're into that. It's also got a really unique layering where the vac-metal interior protrudes through the chassis to also be the tailpipe. Great taillight tampos too (not pictured)

Slide Burn is fucking GOAT. I gather that it's supposed to be an homage to the early Hot Wheels fantasy castings like twin mill, tri-baby, noodle head and whatnot. They even nailed the color, black hood paint, and redlines. Absolutely love it, 11/10, would buy an overpriced RLC release.

Hako Type D is pretty damn good, too. Obviously designed to be a retro-futuristic Japanese coupe, it has tons of great details. Totally looks like the kind of thing you'd see driving in the background of Akira or Patlabor. I particularly like the tilted moonroof and the livery using the same font as Galaxy Express 999.
