I wouldn't really say that 100%, but let me put it this way: He cares but he don't entirely show since he acts on impulse. If Sonic lost everything, he'd still be an inspiration because he'd be the catalyst for another person to make their time to shine. He's on the move, and he can't see himself stopping anytime soon. That's the admirable part! I think I get it, Sonic's will is too strong to break and that's pretty remarkable in itself.
