During the total solar eclipse over Mexico City—dubbed the “Eclipse of the Millennium”—hundreds of thousands to millions of people looked skyward in awe. Amid this spectacle, many reported seeing something far stranger than the usual eclipse phenomenon: a metallic, disk‑shaped object hovering near the eclipsed sun for around 30 minutes.
