Yeah, I remember looking at the TSR dialogue between Blaze and Shadow back when it released. It's weird that it implies they know each other in some surface-level way. I'd like to see more Blaze/Shadow interactions, I just don't have very high hopes.
They've been doing it a lot lately, everyone seems really tight-knit and like they're best friends even when they used to fight a lot. A good example of this would be Amy and Rouge, who fought each other viciously and made it very clear they don't like each other. Then for some reason they made them good gal pal friends who talk about makeup or whatever together, it came out of nowhere.
