As someone who owns a retarded cat that pees on shit sometimes, unfortunately there's not really much you can if you don't catch it fast. That couch is probably fucked. If you catch the cat peeing or find the puddle soon after, baking soda and vinegar will do the trick.
>gently dab wet spots with paper towel to soak as much up as possible
>liberally apply baking soda
>let it soak up piss
>vacuum with shop vac
>spray area with a vinegar/water mix
>apply more baking soda
>let it soak up again and then vacuum
>rinse and repeat until you can't smell anything.
That won't help you now but it's amazing how well this very cheap method works if you catch it fast. Once the piss sets in, especially on a couch, you're pretty well fucked.

Never tried this. Might work but I think you're better off just putting the money towards a new couch. But also, it's likely the cats are pissing in other places too so replacing the couch might not really help that much.

15k in savings ain't bad. How old are you? Moving out would certainly slow the rate of you being able to save up but ffs man, you should probably just think about getting your own place. Cat piss aside, if you're over the age of 23, bringing a gal home to mom's house ain't exactly a panty dropper anyways.
