Am very bummed out after Alphacide. GQuuuuuuX had at least three VERY interesting premises (the alternate OYW itself, growing up in the aftermath of that, and what caused the timeline split) and it bungled all of them by mixing them up so much that no characters or story beats get to be fully fleshed out.

The Alt OYW? Over in ~2 episodes, felt like a Gihren's Greed cutscene. Easily could've been an entire 2 cour series on its own.

The Aftermath? We don't see ANY meaningful world building stuff related to it, drop the clanbat stuff after blowing 5 episodes on it, promising secondary characters like Shiiko and Deux job, and our main cast get embarrassingly little character development. Poor Machu wants to go to Earth and find herself, and she spends the whole fuckin time she's on Earth bouncing around gQxLalah's brothel.

Focusing on the cause of the timeline split is such a bizarre choice. Too much old Gundam stuff for new fans, too little new Gundam stuff for old fans.
