For me, my main drive for playing these games are the quests. I like to complete all the key and optional quests the game has.
This game has the least ammount of them, just the bare minimun one quest for each monster plus like 5 optional ones with 2 monsters.
Where are the egg hunts? Where are the quests with more than 2 monsters? Any super hard one that can be unlocked after you complete every other quest in the game? Arena quests weren't even in the base game, they had to add them later.
Nothing, just the bare fucking minimum, but hey, here are fomo timed event quests! (It's Quematrice again in the Windward Plains for some fucking reason). Even the soulful quest descriptions (which I'll admit, I might be the only one that reads those) are gone.
And of course it's more than just that, other anons explained it. The game is just pure soulless slop.
