There is an artistic mega church mentality, its called the catholic church, at least when you tithe your money mostly goes to ok things like the orphanage or a soup kitchen or plating something else in the church gold. Outside of that, megachurches just serve to scam vulnerable people out of their money and make them think its a validation of their faith, because private jets and golden watches are gods rewards for spreading his word, not the reward of being blessed with love for like actually helping those in need and trying to make your community a better place.
