I did the tape mod and it made it very usable
also put a tiny bit not only on the contacts but in the middle of the d-pad so it lifts its up a bit.
also replaced the analogs with aluminum ones, at least for pro1 you can use xbone ones, its a worthwhile investment because they last forever so you can put back the plastic ones if you ever get rid of the controller. and no bullshit white dust
