I'm told this game is basically a visual novel (with barely existant gameplay), with characters that people really like, yes? So you'd assume it must have a great story that makes all these players so attached to the characters, yes? So why does nobody who plays this game ever talk about the story? This game DOES have a story, right? What is the actual appeal of this game otherwise? Is this shit just astroturfed hardcore?

I genuinely don't believe anyone actually plays Blue Archive, they just obsessively goon over the characters. I have been to countless BA threads and not ONCE have I seen anyone talk about the story (which the game literally revolves around).
