you are/were stating Wrongness, namely that SDi is encumbered and embuggered with all manner of nefarious and not-further-explained DRM. When in fact none of that has jackshit to with SDI. At all. You are also just getting disingenuous trying to back away from that statement now. i mean technically HDCP isn't a part of HDMI spec either, picrel, AI-etc. But the two are so often found together its pretty much semantics to argue that. SDI tho, its otherwise always just been a pro vid transport protocol, to me at any rate. Just found it odd someone was claiming 'its riddled with more DRM crap than HDMIetc'.
