I know. I'm only posting this so that your heartfelt complaint doesn't just fade and leave you with the feeling that it's been left unread. I have nothing to add but to screech into the void, just as you are. If I were less eepy I would write up a passionate post of my thoughts on why and how but really it doesn't matter.

I'm younger than you by probably like 5-8 years, but in my eyes at this point it's best to find other creative types and hide away with them from the madness. It's the only cope I can think of (and I still get tilted from time to time when these circles get infected by the current twitter drama of the week, fuck off). I cannot put the depth of my hate into words. Everything public is nothing more than worship of the corporate boot killing discussion, and preventing our very culture from evolving as it was through the early 2000s in my childhood. Everyone and everything feels deathly afraid of sincerity in a quest for finding what's most marketable instead, it's completely stalled the internet's culture, see, I did it anyway, there's my whining post of starting to feel old. I wonder if someone born in 2010 would be nostalgic for today's internet (Probably, I can see about ten thousand ways it can get much, much worse. Required IDs, whitelisting IPs on a service provider level and so on)
