The first chapter is bullshit I don't think needs to be included, approx 4.4k words but tl;dr it opens with me in the Seattle airport not knowing what the fuck I'm doing or where to go, it then goes into how the only time I'd been in seattle before was to go to Alaska for the army, i get in trouble within a few weeks of being there and they kick me out a few months later I go over a bit of things in KC that happen while i'm sleeping in my vehicle until it gets totaled and I buy a one way ticket to Seattle to live like a hobo
It loops back to the first few paragraphs which are me landing in seattle
as far as the flat voice goes I have no idea how to fix it, most of the early stuff seems to just be recalling events until I become seasoned enough to make observations on my own. Being that it's all true and every person in this could have a problem with what I write honestly about them, I feel like this is probably the best solution.
