I've never butchered a cow in my life nor have I seen any live cow that I've consumed the meat of. Assuming my consumption of beef is average I eat 1/10 of a cow in year so at worst only 3 cows have died for me to live. Part of the reason I oppose the cosumtion of whale meat is because their general intelligence.
