Asians have entire reastaurants where they eat sea animals alive. You've probably heard of mukbangers doing it too. Asian culture is incredibly cynical, the core of their worldview is the sort of belief in a just world where if anything bad ever happens to you it's your fault, and you most certainly don't deserve empathy because that's a waste of time for others when they could be doing something productive/enjoyable instead. Under this view, it wouldn't matter if a cow was talking. Satisfying one's sadism and a desire to feel any semblance of power in a cold uncaring world would probably be more important for an average Asian.
