Grug is probably a bit more talented than Sinner in terms of tennis itself, but Sinner importantly seems to have that certain quasi-psychopathic autism that many GOAT athletes have, which is a talent of its own. a lot of players would mentally crumble after losing that RG, but Sinner is clearly not the type and was able to avoid pigeon status today. if anyone is to break Novak's record, it'll probably be him, he needs "only" 2-3 slams a year for the next 7-10 years, which at this point actually seems quite possible unless we get a couple more generational talents (which I hope will happen for the sake of tennis)
