This is why they're obviously saving big names and plan to spread them out. On paper this makes sense and what most companies do when it comes to hero, weapon, etc. releases, because if you blow your load with the most extreme and popular stuff first, you have nowhere else to go and nothing big for players to look forward to.

The problem is that they fucked up in several ways
>released all fantastic 4, which aren't actually very popular and eats up 4 releases
>releasing moderately popular characters like emma, phoenix and blade. two of them with pretty bland generic kits. (they lucked out with emma)
>ultron got an extremely dull basic kit, which doesn't fulfill the character fantasy of feeling like you're the badass ultron
>double duelist release, which should never have been greenlit. every single season should always have two different role releases

The game needs basically 2 big exciting heavy hitters per year. Ultron could've been one of them, but they flubbed that hard.

Some other anon suggested it, but releasing Deadpool, Cable and some PvE mode vs Sentinels would be a very strong shot in the arm for the game.
