The games have enough characters to fill an entire character select screen in a spin-off, and yet SEGA never capitalizes on it for some unknown reason. Is it because of the whole Classic/Modern era split? Is SEGA even aware of the fact that there are way more game characters than just what is shown on picrel? It's like this company keeps getting amnesia or something, despite Sonic being their most famous IP.
