NATO is scared because russia fights to the last orc. (apart from rich people who can bribe their way out)
Putin doesn't care how many die, russians, Eastern Ukranians (which putin thinks are russians, but kills them anway) Western Ukranians (nazis apparently), NATO does care about losses and it's the first time they've been actually tested, and now its apparent it's a huge, complicated, red-tape filled woke-brigade, not a decision making force to be reckoned with.
