That's the real shame of it. We are always stuck with the morally dubious companion as a love interest. Nothing that fits the ideal which you've described.

Perhaps never from Bioware. They missed out on Alistair for Dragon Age. And Garrus from Mass Effect. The closest you'll ever get that doesn't embody those traits is Gale from Baldur's Gate 3. Sure he's a wizard but he has the same charm as Alistair and is quite handsome.
