Attila is great, all that you mentioned plus the whispers and operatic stuff he does, he really has a great range of methods to communicate any sort of emotion he wants. He's really in my mind the first great metal vocalist.

Actually underated, even by myself because I often forget about him, we think alike if you bring him up since he was one of the first third wave style of vocalist - that deeper throaty style that become the mainstay of modern BM around the time of Watain and the rest of the Orthodox scene. He also developed his own unique take with the shouty stuff he does in DHG.

That being said - as always with black metal - Snorre was still ahead of everyone else by decades, even vocals which isn't his focus. Trondertun demo hes much deeper than his other peers.
