>there are a bunch of text tweaks that make the translation job a straight-up objective improvement to the original in almost every way, sadly this can't be completely ported to the SNES version without concessions because retranslated battle thoughts would take up way too much space in the ROM size, that said the script is still nearly 90% the Woolsey & co translation so think of it as the version they'd had produced if Nintendo better edited Squaresoft's work (+ other languages are Japanese/English-hybrid translations)
It's overall a good way to play it, especially if it's your first time. It's a short game.
